“My dear, well played. Looks like I can collect my winnings now with the casino. And then, my dear Crista, we’ll head up to my room where I
can collect my winnings from you,” Evan said as he held out his hand for her to follow him to turn in the chips. Crista searched for her
friends in the crowd as they walked to the counter, but couldn’t find them. She had in mind to mouth help and try to escape from Evan before
she had to pay up, but that wouldn’t happen. After Evan replaced his wallet, he turned and escorted Crista to the elevator. The smile would
not leave his face, he looked as if he’d just won a million dollars.
Suddenly, Crista turned shy as the man opened the door to his opulent suite. A bottle of wine chilled in an ice bucket and two glasses sat
upon the tray, waiting for Evan’s arrival. Lifting a single brow, Crista looked from the wine to Evan.
“What? They’ve been instructed to leave a bottle of wine chilling. I have my ways,” Evan said and winked. “Now, to collect my winnings,
first I want you to go freshen up in the bathroom, and come back in nothing but the robe. It’s hanging on the hook behind the door. K?”
